Month: January 2017

We are way more excited to bring you one of our favorite fashion statements. ‘BOMBER JACKETS’.  Bomber or flight jacket is originally created for military pilots. It was widely used by the military during the World War I.

80’s style has become fashions favorite again and of course our favorite too. It will fit into everyone’s wardrobe. Floral, Printed, sporty, embroidered, patterned, cropped, over-sized, Bomber trend will continue throughout the year. It will work with just about anything and everything from casual denims, body-cons, skater dress, skirts, shorts, and culottes. It can be worn as street style or as a statement.

Roshni: I love to play with floral and prints and I decided to mix this pretty floral print bomber jacket with a plain black body con dress. For an effortless street wear inspired edit I opted for floral printed Bomber jacket which can be layered over a dress or a pair of denim during the spring/summer days. I completed the look with my favorite pair of open-toed black heels and a rose gold reflective sunglasses.

Shree: I’m so obsessed about grunge music, Led Zeppelin being my favorite. The lazy vocals and guitar are truly magical and highly influential. Here I’m mixing typical nineties grunge elements with modern fashion essentials for a sophisticated casual look. I decided to go for sporty black bomber and ombre jeans, paired with open toed lace boots and a reflective sunglasses.

On Shree: Bomber Jacket: Terranova, Denim: Myntra, Crop Top: Faballey (Myntra), Shoes: Colaba Causeway Mumbai, Sunglasses: Amazon, On my lips: L’Oréal Paris

Hope you had an awesome weekend. I’ve had these photos shot when I visited Scotland during November last week, now it is winter and actually a perfect time for this post to go up.

Layering is all about mixing and matching and I’m a true lover of it. Even if I like to layer in summer, I believe winter is the perfect time for it. Burgundies and mustard happens to be my favorite at the moment. I like to mix and match various silhouettes for creating an edgy look. Decided to team a black tank top with a grey skater plaid midi skirt. Since it was so freezing cold when far from the sun I decided to wear an over-sized burgundy trench which will sink with the autumnal hues perfectly. Completed the look with a warmer tights and ankle length booties.

On Roshni: Trench coat: from Scotland, Tank top: Mango, Skirt: Primark, Tights: Topshop, booties: Forever 21, on my lips: Nyx soft matte lip cream Cannes

Hope you will love this street fashion look. Meet you all with another fun post soon! Xoxo.

Hi Angels!

We are so much inclined to 70’s and 80’s fashion statements. Victorian is the most favorite among them. The fabrics that can tell a story of the bygone era re-surged again into street fashion. Fashion is cyclical and of course, it will repeat the past.

We are so much excited that today we are presenting something of that sort. It is so feminine and empowering way of dressing according to us. Got the inspiration to do this look from the A/W 2016 runway collections. We Love everything about Victorian fashion- frills, Flounces, mutton bell sleeves, Pleated skirts, romantic ruffles, dark lips, victory curls and bouffant up dos. That classy elegant way of dressing! No fashion has so much drama and elegance like the Victorians. Dark saturated beautiful silhouettes are worth flaunting to turn the heads.

Roshni: I’m obsessed about the 80’s fashion. There is so much drama and elegant opulence in Victorian way of dressing. I decided to go for a high neck blouse with intricate floral details, ruffles and long fitted sleeves. Incorporated it with a pencil skirt to create an edgy feminine street style. I preferred a Y line silhouette which will emphasize the ruffled blouse more. Added a red hand bag and wedges to complete the look. To create a little bit of drama I curled up my hair.

Shree: I love the Victorian vibe, Frills, pleats, velvet, Victory curls, and Red lips which are so feminine. I decided to go for a lace mesh top with a midi pencil skirt and leather lace up shoes. What I loved about this top is the monochrome lace with frills and the long sleeves which is so Victorian. I completed the look with a tan sling bag. Opted for a Bouffant half up do keeping it subtle for a Victorian street style kind of look.

On Roshni: Blouse: Zara, Skirt: Amy buyer, Bag: Guess, belt: Vero moda, Wedges: From a boutique in London, on my lips: mac ruby woo

On Shree: Lace top, shoes: Zara, Skirt: C&A, Bag: New Yorker, On my lips: mac Russian red

We are newbies in the blogging world, hope everyone will love our first post. Let us know your views and suggestions. Much love to you all angels out there. Meet you all with another new post soon. Xoxo Voguies!
